You can also buy our virgin olive oil (collection only) and view our holiday rentals. Please note that for most of our irises there are (subject to availability) significant discounts if you order 3 or 5 of the same variety in the same order.
Important notice! We supply irises as bare root rhizomes which are dug from the field to your order and therefore they can only be delivered during the lifting season, in September-October each year, and there is a cut off date for orders after which any orders will be suppled the following year. For delivery in 2026, we are accepting orders up until 18 October 2026, inclusive, for orders destined for Italy and the EU, and 20 September 2026 for orders destined for the UK. Orders placed after those dates will not be delivered until 2027.
A dramatic combination: a pale yellow background to the falls, edged with a deep border of maroon red and standards in the same deep red/brown shade. The appearance, although always pleasing, varies a great deal according to the light and is at its most vibrant when backlit, so is particularly effective if positioned where late afternoon light will strike it from behind. Flowers classically shaped, not overly ruffled. A vigorous grower. Although a strong colour, Provencal is nonetheless an easy mixer, whether used as a contrast to pep up white and cooler shades or as a component in a hot colour mix.
Una combinazione drammatica di giallo caldo e marrone rosso. L’aspetto, sempre piacevole, varia molto secondo la luce. Più vivace quando retroilluminato, quindi è particolarmente efficace se posizionato dove la luce caldo dal pomeriggio colpirà da dietro. Fiori a forma classico, non troppo ondulato. Una pianta vigorosa. Può essere usato insieme con altre colore calde o come contrasto tra fiore bianche e colore fredde.
