You can browse irises by name, size, colour group, flowering time, style, or qualities (such as prizewinning, perfumed, reblooming irises, and historic irises). You can also buy our virgin olive oil (collection only) and view our holiday rentals. Please note that for most of our irises there are (subject to availability) significant discounts if you order 3 or 5 of the same variety in the same order.
Important notice! We supply irises as bare root rhizomes which are dug from the field to your order and therefore they can only be delivered during the lifting season, in September-October each year, and there is a cut off date for orders after which any orders will be suppled the following year. For delivery in 2026, we are accepting orders up until 18 October 2026, inclusive, for orders destined for Italy and the EU, and 20 September 2026 for orders destined for the UK. Orders placed after those dates will not be delivered until 2027.
A very old iris which grows very vigorously and forms a carpet of rich, warm colour in the garden. Lots of small flowers in gold and maroon. In style of growth, closer to the MTBs than the TBs but unlike most MTBs is late flowering. Very pretty planted next to roses. Also known as Sans Souci, Brilliant, and Rebecca.
Note that the rhizomes of miniature tall bearded irises are very small compared with tall bearded irises but once established the plants will form a good clump.
Un iris molto vecchio che cresce molto vigorosamente e forma un tappeto di colore ricco e caldo nel giardino. Un sacco di piccoli fiori in oro e marrone. In stile di crescita, più vicino alle MTB rispetto alle TB, ma a differenza della maggior parte delle MTB la fioritura a tardiva. Molto carino piantato vicino alle rose. Anche conosciuto come Sans Souci, Brilliant, and Rebecca.
Si nota che i rizomi di iris barbati alti “in miniatura” sono molto piccoli rispetto alle iris barbati alti, ma una volta stabilite le piante formeranno un buon ciuffo.
